    Transfer Process  
    The Peninsula School District will be accepting transfer applications for the  
    2012-2013 school year.  Students requesting a transfer must submit a  
    Request to Transfer Within Peninsula School District or Application for  
    Non-Resident Admission form.  Current transfer students must also complete  
    a new form in order to remain at their transfer school.  New transfer  
    requests are granted on a space available basis.  Forms are available at school offices, at the district website www.psd401.net or at the  
    Peninsula School District Educational Service Center.  Applications  
    should be returned to the PSD Educational Service Center, 14015 62nd  
    Ave. NW, Gig Harbor, WA  98332 no later than April 30, 2012.  Contact

    If your student will be attending Key Peninsula Middle School for 2012-2013 and comes from another school district or in-district middle school, please call 253 530-4205 to set up an appointment for registration.

  Student Safety Reminder  
    Please talk with your children about safety before boarding their school bus and after exiting.  Everyone should practice personal safety and not accept rides from strangers. If approached by a stranger, children should tell a trusted adult right away. Student safety is a top priority!

  Dental Care for Children  
    The Lindquist Clinic, in the Boys and Girls Club building in Gig Harbor,  
    serves children with medical coupons, Washington Basic Health coverage,  
    and dental coverage.  It is a full dental clinic with all equipment and takes  
    new patients.  The appointment number is 853-2002.  Pierce County  
    Dental Coordinator Jennifer Bunch can help link families with dentists if  
    they have lost their dental insurance or have no dental insurance.  Her  
    number is 253-272-1101.  Contact School Nurse Diane Yelish with
