New Books for Spring |
| Have you observed Mr. Brian Hawkins, NASA Teacher, around the library lately? Mr. Hawkins has been here to teach classes about many space topics. Mrs. Krueger’s class took off for an Astroventure guided by Mr. Hawkins and Mrs. Krueger. Students saw black holes, space debris, asteroids, and meteors. |
Have you ever wanted to read Lemony Snicket the Unauthorized Autobiography, Eragon or Eldest from Christopher Paolini or the Garfield Books. We have those and many more fiction and non-fiction books purchased with library funds and book fair bonus. |

RIF Concludes |
| Rotten eggs, wilting plants and electric lemons were the order of the day for the last month as students researched their science experiments for the Science Fair. Students worked on punching out letters on the ASB Die Cutter, assembled their research reports from Internet and non-fiction book sources, completed their projects and assembled their display boards in the library. Congratulations to the students for a job well-done. |
KPMS students received three books from our Library Reading is Fundamental (RIF) grant this year. Comments from students expressed that they were happy with the selection available including fiction, non-fiction paperback and hardback books of all kinds. Thank you Angel Guild and PTSA for your local grant match. |

| Students enjoyed shopping at our Scholastic Book Fair held in the library during March. The fair netted about $200.00 worth of books for the school and about $200.00 in profit for the PTSA. Thanks for shopping at the book fair. |
